Obituary for Ariadna Palacios

Ariadna Palacios
February 7, 1975 was the day the beautiful spirit of a warrior princess shined her light on the world. She was born to Sonia Melania Cruz and Jaime Palacios and they named her Ariadna. Born on the island of enchantment Puerto Rico, she was raised in the concrete jungle better known as New York.
Ari was a compassionate heart with a gift for being supportive and nonjudgmental. The bonds and relationships she built were important to her. This is evident in the numerous childhood friends she remained close to throughout her life. She had the gift of gab and could make anyone feel at ease around her. Her sharp whit and bubbly personality are unforgettable. If she laughed, you laughed. If she danced, you danced. If she partied, you partied. While her light was extinguished from this world too soon, we are better people for having known and loved her. We are truly blessed for having her in our lives.
We pray our family will stay whole and breath and laugh and dance just like she did. Though her life was cut short, she taught us to live, fight and be adventurous. She taught us to be present and never care about the opinions of others. She commanded a room and ignited a party. Ask anyone and they will tell you it was the two lives that she help to create, Jeremy and Theodora, that she was most proud of and considered her greatest accomplishment in life and her greatest gift to the world.

January 22, 2017 was the day her light left our earth and is now shinning from heaven. She is joining the two brightest stars in the sky, her sister Meleny and her cousin Jacob. She is survived by her parents Sonia and Jaime, her children Jeremy and Theodora, her brother Tommy and her sisters Emely, Eneida, Eunice, Erializ. She is also survived by her nieces Julie and Emily and her nephews Raymond, Thomas Jacob, Max and Payton; uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
