Obituary for Raymond Joseph Crist Jr.
Raymond Joseph Crist, Jr., age 78, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at Manor Care. Born May 16, 1938, in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Raymond Joseph and Hilda Marie Perry Crist, Sr.
A general contractor by trade, Mr. Crist was involved in roofing, landscaping, and general construction. He enjoyed fishing, making wood crafts, and hunting for arrowheads.
Surviving are three children, Robert Crist of Damascus, MD, Patti Crist of Rockville, MD, and James Crist of Boyds, MD, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two siblings, Ted Crist (wife Roxanne) of Chambersburg, pa and Linda Crist of Chambersburg, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Fuller and a sister, Theresa Crist.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at 11 AM at Zion Covenant Church, 1102 Locust St., Chambersburg, PA 17202, where Pastor Willie Dingledein will officiate. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, Franklin/Fulton Unit, 924 N. Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403.
