Obituary for Joseph Leroy Hodson

HODSON, Joseph Leroy, age 90 son of Leroy and Anna Hodson, passed away Tuesday January 31, 2017 at Friendship Village Dayton,OH. He attended Shiloh Church. Joe proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He was the former owner of L. A. Hodson Plumbing Company.

Joe is survived by his loving wife Jean of 54 years; brother David (Carol) Hodson; daughter Vicki Johannes (Terry Littleton); niece Janet Hatfield (Tom Tenhundfeld); close friend Ken (Fran) Flory; grandchildren Robert and Richard Dungan, and many loving nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Friday, February 3, 2017 at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. Dayton OH 45415. The family will receive friends 11-12PM Friday at the funeral home, followed by burial at Arlington Cemetery, Brookville OH. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to charity of one’s choice.
