Betty  Marshall
Belden—Betty Sue Marshall, 73, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the North MS Medical Center. She was born Nov. 9, 1943 in Crestview Florida, the daughter of Mack and Ruby Smith. After growing up in Baker, FL, she married Neil Marshall on June 28, 1963. They traveled extensively with Neil’s military service, living in Japan as well as all over the U.S. She had been a resident of Belden for the past 7 years. Betty loved her family dearly and was a dedicated homemaker. An avid reader, she also enjoyed camping, fishing, painting and shopping for antiques. Betty was an active member of the Verona Church of Christ.

Betty leaves behind her husband of 53 years, Neil Marshall of Belden; her 2 children, Pam Steward (Jim) of Rienzi and Kieth Allen Marshall of Belden; 2 sisters, Shirley Brooks (Rhett) of Crestview, FL and Mary Brannan (Ned) of Bay Minnette, AL; 6 grandchildren, Christopher Marshall, Jameson Steward (Ashley), Whitney Marshall, Joshua Steward, Jonathan Steward, and Justin Steward; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 12 p.m. Saturday with Bro. Wayne Cox officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to service time Saturday.
