Lois Marie Patch, age 89 of Plainwell, passed away February 19, 2017 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. Lois was born May 2, 1927, in Ithaca, Michigan; the daughter of George and Jessie (Foster) Bartshe. Her husband of 54 years, Edward Patch, preceded her in death in 2002.
Lois is survived by her children, Timothy (Barbara) Patch, Thomas (Sandra) Patch, and Sheryl (Wayne) Johnston; her grandchildren, David Johnston, Julie Johnston, Jennifer (Alex) Gonzalez, Laurie (Colin) Corsi, Tammie (David) Underwood, Karen (Steven) Willis, Katie (Dave) Engle, and Krista (Ray) Gimenez; and her great grandchildren, Lierin Kennedy, Alexandra Kennedy, David Underwood, Daxton Underwood, Belle Gonzalez, Gage Gonzalez, Aiden Corsi, Annie Engle, Charlie Engle, and Sallie Willis.
Lois’s family will receive friends Monday, February 27, 2017, 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Williams-Gores Funeral Home where her funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM. Pastor Michael McCrumb and her son, Pastor Tim Patch will officiate.
A committal service will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI at 2:30pm on Monday, February 27, 2017.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Cure SMA will be appreciated.
