Obituary for Lorraine Lauchaire Grippi
The family of Lorraine Lauchaire Grippi, of Fort Salonga, NY, is saddened to announce her passing on Sunday, February 26, 2017.
Lorraine is survived by her husband of 52 years, Francis E. Grippi, her children, son Jim and his wife Donna, daughter Christina and her husband John, her 2 granddaughters Samantha Lauchaire Spensieri and Alyssa Lauchaire Grippi, and her brother Ron Celeste.

Lorraine brought love and sensitivity to all those around her and was very proud to be a Eucharistic Minister and the Volunteer Coordinator for Visiting Nurse Service of Northport during the 1990s. Her family was her greatest joy and we will miss her more than we can say.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at The Branch Funeral Home, 190 East Main Street, Smithtown, NY 11787. Visiting hours will be:
• Wednesday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
• Thursday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
• Friday morning from 9:00 am to 10:00 am
A Catholic mass will be offered at 10:30 am on Friday at Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 59 Church Street, Kings Park, NY 11754. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations are made to La Salle Academy – Student Sponsor Program. Lorraine was very proud to actively support this program for many years. The mission of La Salle, a rigorous college-preparatory high school, is to educate students of diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds with special out-reach to those most in need.
