I LOVE board games. This love can be directly traced back to my Grandmother. There are so many classics that she taught me and my sister: Rummikub, Canasta, Skip-Bo. Now, I can't speak for Leon, but my favorite was the game Sorry. The reason this was my favorite was the way my Grandmother would seemingly revel in the word "Sorry" as she booted our game piece back to the start. A simple two sylabal word "sor-ry", would be streched with glee to something more akin to "soa-rrr-rry" (aided by her New Jersey/Long Island accent). It is another of those memories that comes flooding back whenever I find myself walking through Boarders and I see the game Sorry on the shelves. "Soa-rrr-rry" comes my Grandmothers voice from nowhere. She was the queen of that game. Thanks Grandma, I love you.
