Obituary for Lee Ella Tedeschi (King)

Lee Ella Tedeschi passed away in Roseburg, Oregon on the 24th February 2017. She was born on the 20th January 1931 in Purcell, Oklahoma to Cecil and Irene (Tarbet) King. As a child she would live in several places in Oklahoma before her parents purchased a ranch in Anadarko. It’s farm life that taught her how to work hard to get ahead. But even as a young girl she enjoyed riding horses and school.
She married her first husband John Byrd in 1953 and had 3 children from this union. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Tulare, California and in 1965 to Healdsburg, California. Though it was not meant to last as some things are in this life, she always was there to support her children in any way she could.
She married her second husband Albi Tedeschi in 1975 in Reno. Though they always worked hard, they took the time to travel with her sisters Lola (Aaron) Smith and Lora (Calvin) Barnett. She enjoyed all the wonderful things she got to see while traveling with them. Some of her favorite things she always enjoyed were gardening, square dancing and abalone diving, but most of all she loved her family.
She was preceded in death by a son Cecil Byrd, her parents, a brother William “Sonny” King and three sisters Lola Smith, Lora Barnett and Daisy Gardner. She is survived by 2 children; Steve (Carmen) Byrd grandson Matthew (Tracy) and Beverly (Andy) Camozzi and grandsons, Kyle (Jen), A.J. and Michael (Mikaylah) as well as a granddaughter Kaitlyn and 4 great grandkids Steven, Noah, Zackary and Lillian.
We will be having a Celebration of Life for her over Memorial Day weekend in Oregon.
