Life Story for Dorothy E. Lowe

Dorothy Emerson Lowe was born October 28, 1923 in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. She passed away February 25, 2017 in Tacoma, WA.

For 42 years, from 1943-1985, Dorothy taught elementary grades in Tacoma Public Schools. What a legacy! She attended Temple Baptist Church, was affiliated with Job’s Daughters, and was a member of Martha Chapter, O.E.S. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, photography, antiquing, and travel-she visited the seven continents and all 50 states!

Dorothy’s Tacoma family: Pamala Lowe, Lorie Foster, Janet Gwyn, and grand-dog Oliver. Her Spokane family: Sherree Lowe, Nancy E. Tibbits and Jim Dunn. She was preceded in death by her brother, E.J. “Ted” Lowe and niece Mary “Jeannie” Dunn.

A “Memorial Reception” will be held at 2 pm Friday, March 10, 2017, at Temple Baptist Church, 1108 Columbia Ave, Fircrest, WA 98466, phone 253/572-9155. While you're here, please sign the guestbook for Dorothy.
