Condolence From: Tim Hill
Condolence: Dorothy Lowe was my favorite teacher in elementary (Horace Mann). This would be 1959. I remember she taught us spanish. I still have my little spanish/English dictionary. Best memoties ever.

Condolence: Miss Lowe--
You were tough, terrifying, and magical. The importance of good handwriting was hammered into to me because of you, and I hear your voice in my head when I help my children with their homework. Your annual collection of used crayons for Africa, and hearing about your travels to the Kalahari Desert (among many other places) was fascinating, and inspired me to genuinely empathize with the citizens of the world. Learning the presidents in order taught me how to memorize things--Washington, Adams, Monroe...Rest in peace, heroic teacher.
