Joanne Parker Townsend, 90, of Hilo, HI, passed away on February 26, 2017. Joanne was born on September 4, 1926, in Bakersfield, CA. Joanne retired as an Executive Secretary. Services for Joanne will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church(43 Kapiolani St., Hilo, HI 96720). Visitation starts at 11:00am. Funeral Mass starts at 11:30am. Luncheon to follow at Alapai’s Residence 671 Kalanikoa St. Hilo, HI 96720. Joanne is survived by her Husband William Ku’ulei Townsend; Sons Tim(Lee)Walsh, and Michael Walsh; Stepson George(Barbara)Townsend; Daughter Sharon(Robert)Alapai; Stepdaughter Billie Ann Isomura; 16 Grandchildren; and 21 Great-Grandchildren.
