The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Karen Rieniets can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Elizabeth Orem
Condolence: Karen was exactly two months older than me, and I can't believe I'm still alive and she is gone. I thought of her as a dear friend and colleague at Highlands University. She always helped me, and she invariably made me laugh. There was no one with better spirits and yet the wry , dry humor that demonstrated such a keen intelligence and a great sensitivity. She was good to everyone, and I regret not meeting her family, including her husband. We exchanged cards and calls for a time, but time and separate illnesses have a way of fraying relationships. But she will always be my friend! With great sympathy for your loss.

Condolence From: Mrs. Williams
Condolence: The loss of Mrs. Karen Rieniets a cherished loved one is the most devastating experience a family can face. At times, the loss may seem unbearable. Please know that there are people who care and more importantly Psalm 34:18 tells us that "God is near to those that are broken at heart. He is the God of all comfort. My prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time of grief.
