I considered Carol a very special friend of mine. Even though she had a tough time finding words in the last year, she had a heart of gold and a ready smile. She was able to sing hymns and say The Lord's Prayer up until the last few months. Carol loved others, and cherished her family. She enjoyed having her back scratched, hugs and Homega and Garden TV. I'm not alone at Trail Ridge missing Carol. There's a definite gap in devoting time since Carol left us. I'm much relieved that she suffers no longer. I pray she is an angel with large wings who continues to mother and watch over the rest of us. I'm sorry for her loss personally, but grateful she's no longer burdened with the troubles of living a mortal life. With her great faith, love for all, and courage until the end, I was blessed to know such a great woman.
