Donald A. Domizio, 74, of Plainville, CT passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Hospital of Central CT @ New Britain General. Don was born in New Britain, CT and was the son of the late Albert and Elizabeth (Dutcazitch) Domizio. He worked at Fafnir Bearing retiring after several years of service. Don served his country honorably in the U.S. Army National Guard during the Vietnam War.
Don is survived by his family whom he loved dearly, his two sons - Don Domizio of Southington, CT and David Domizio and his wife Annette, his two daughters Mary Miano and Chrissy O’Driscoll all of New Britain, CT, his two brothers Joseph and Anthony Domizio, his sister Elizabeth Bacon, his precious beloved eight grandchildren – Tommy, Christina, Leslie, Vicky, Nicholas, John, Josh and Amy, fifteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A private celebration for Don’s life will be held Monday, March 20, 2017 from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. Don will be laid to rest with his beloved wife, Barbara in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain, CT. Full military honors for Mr. Domizio will be rendered by the U.S. Army.
