William "Terry" Blackwell, 66, passed away Sunday, March 12, in his home, in Pensacola, Florida.
Terry is preceded in death by his mother, Mae, and brother, Sonny, and leaves his father, A.D.; his brothers, John and Jerry; his son, Chris; his daughter, Tara; his grandsons, Brandon, Shawn, and Christian; his nephews, Jason (Melanie-Ann), Astley (Amy), Ian (Nicole), and Jed (Heather); his niece Madison; his great-nephews, Brayden, Quent, Christopher, and Connor; great-nieces, Katherine, Caroline, and Annistyn.
Terry was a graduate of Escambia High School, and a music student at Pensacola Junior College. Although he retired as a United States Postal Service Carrier, he pursued his passion for music beginning from an early age. Terry played in numerous bands across the Southeast, primarily in his hometown of Pensacola, and was known for his diverse musical expertise, and his soulful style.
Other than his family and friends, Terry's greatest loves were The University of Alabama football, and his best four-legged friend, Callie.
