Condolences

Condolence From: Mark Bonaudi
Condolence: I offer my heartfelt and sincere condolences to Karen and Shelby. Coach Bossert was a foundational cornerstone in my development as a young man. I had the honor to be a student of his at McQueen as well as a member of his football team. He taught me that everyone has a dog in their heart and it is our responsibility to find it, work it and make it part of who you are. I developed my work ethic under his tutelage and his "Bigger, Faster, Stronger" paradigm resonates with me to this day. I was a mediocre athlete in high school, but today as a Commanding Officer in the United States Army, I am in the best shape of my life. I attribute my mind set to what I learned from Coach Bossert. I am proud to acknowledge the legacy of Coach Bossert in my Command Philosophy where I challenge all of my Soldiers to "Get fit, stay fit, and save my life." My only regret is not acknowledging Coach Bossert and his profound impact on and in my life sooner. I remember him often and miss him daily. My family and I pray for peace and comfort to Karen and Shelby during this immediate time of grief and for the enduring future as life moves on. Your husband/dad helped shape me into who I am today, and I am forever grateful. I am blessed to have had him a part of my life.
