Maryann  Berry (Livingston)
Maryann Berry, 93, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at St. Joseph’s Home and Rehabilitation Center in Pleasant Prairie.
Born on October 25, 1923, in Wauwatosa, WI, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Mary (Yurchak) Livingston. She lived in Ironwood, MI, until the age of 14 when she moved to Kenosha and attended McKinley Jr. High School and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School.
She had been employed by American Motors/Chrysler Corp as a secretary to the Controller until July 30, 1985. She then worked at Sears Service Center in Racine from 1986 until her retirement in October of 1994.
Maryann was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post where she was past president, the Allons Jr. Women’s Club. She enjoyed dancing, bowling, attending theater, playing the piano, and traveling, especially cruises.
Surviving her are two children, Jack C. (Jo) Berry, Jr. of Racine, and Diane L. Berry of Aurora, CO; her six grandchildren, Joy Brown, Jack Berry-Daniel, Judi Berry, Shaun Berry, T.J. Daly and Meghan Daly; and eight great-grandchildren, Steven Uttech, Tyler Uttech, Rachel Berry, Katelyn Daniel, Enzo Daniel, Sydney Lee Uttech, Ashley Barsuli and Sarah Berry; a step great-grandchild, Devin Wilson; and a great-great grandchild, Logan Uttech, with another on the way, Mason Knudsen.
She was preceded in death by a son, Craig R. Berry; and several aunts, uncles and her ex-husband, Jack Berry, Sr.
Maryann’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff at St. Joseph’s Home for all the kind and compassionate care that they gave her.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25th, at St. Joseph’s Home Chapel, 9244 29th Avenue, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association of Wisconsin would be appreciated by the family.
