Obituary for Catherine Byrd "Kitty" Santistevan
Kitty lived a full life. She was an RN and Director of Nursing at Chateau Nursing Facility in Stockton for over 30 years. She was an avid bowler and was a longtime member of the bowling league Pacific Bowling Alley. Joey and her dogs were the loves of her life. Her humor was one like no other. She fought a long battle with End Stage Renal Disease for over seven years.
She is survived by her husband Joe (Joey) Santistevan; daughters JoAnn McCune (Nixon) of Sparks, NV, Renee Covington of Tacoma, WA, Denise Santistevan (Brenda) of Tulsa, OK, Teresa Matuska of Yuma, AZ and Brenda Schwab (Wayne) of Bonney Lake, WA, her grandchildren; Thomas Spackman, Charles Gillis (Kassandra), Joseph Santistevan, Monica Mendoza, Sara Covington, Eric Mendoza, Chris Matuska, Zack Schwab and Cody Schwab, her great grandchildren; Henry Gillis, Cassidy Spackman, Isabelle Brisco, Isaiah Brisco and D'Angelo Mendoza.
