Ken Youngblood
Our Eggplant loved his family with all the energy of his being, He was appreciative of the many friends who sustained him with pranks and laughter that buoyed him above the dark memories of his stint in Vietnam. Our Brad was a beacon of friendship and welcome on that spit of land jutting out into those Adirondack waters so sacred to him. He reminded us that idiosyncrasy should be embraced for in it we can discover our own authenticity. Love and good will was all the scourge of war left in him. We don't know if it was enough for him to leave this world fulfilled. But it was more than enough for those of us privileged to know the perpetual boom of his laughter...his best arsenal against the savages of war.
