Condolence: My condolences to all the MacDowell family. Another shining light of the old neighborhood has
gone out. Brad was a great friend and mentor and
will be missed by all who knew him. I have shared a amusing story of part of our amazing relationship.
I hope that you can enjoy it at this time of sadness. Brad was truly one of a kind.

Condolence: Hey Eggplant, Get the party started, it'll sure be a great one that we will all enjoy in due time. Just the same as we did earlier in time, during the mundane, the good times, the tragedies & horrors and the escapes from this world that would never had the same meaning and good times without you! You brought sunshine into a dark grey world. I can only imagine the troops that you made see a light at he end of the tunnel, to the end of the worst times of their lives. They are renaming the statue on the hill in Rio to the person who made that stance famous: "EGGPLANT"

Godspeed

Condolence: Our Eggplant loved his family with all the energy of his being, He was appreciative of the many friends who sustained him with pranks and laughter that buoyed him above the dark memories of his stint in Vietnam. Our Brad was a beacon of friendship and welcome on that spit of land jutting out into those Adirondack waters so sacred to him. He reminded us that idiosyncrasy should be embraced for in it we can discover our own authenticity. Love and good will was all the scourge of war left in him. We don't know if it was enough for him to leave this world fulfilled. But it was more than enough for those of us privileged to know the perpetual boom of his laughter...his best arsenal against the savages of war.
