Frances Ann Fusselman, 87, died peacefully on March 23, 2017 in Perry, Oklahoma. A wake celebrating her life will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2017 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Her funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at St. John’s University Parish in Stillwater, Oklahoma. A private family burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Ponca City, OK. Strode Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Frances started her working career at the HS Kress Co. in Arizona at the candy counter. Upon her moving to Oklahoma, she worked various positions at the hospitals in Blackwell and Ponca City, as she always loved to help people. During her driving days she was also a frequent volunteer for Meals on Wheels and quick to give anyone in need a ride to Mass.

Her real joys in life were her children. She was so proud of them and all their accomplishments. She loved seeing her grandchildren whenever possible. While traveling across the US repeatedly visiting family, she also explored Mexico and Canada. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and gardening. Later in life, she also developed a strong affection for Braum’s milkshakes.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Genevieve; two brothers, Charles and Ken; two sisters, Gen and Lilian; her husband Milton, whom she is very excited to see again.

She is survived by her eight children: Marie and husband Jim, Cecilia, Milton Jr. and wife Karen, Mark, Annie and husband Mike, Paul and wife Heather, Elizabeth and husband Paul, Daniel; 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
