Mary Winston  Brackett
Mary Winston Brackett, age 80, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born February 6, 1937 in the Wheat community and has been a lifelong resident of Roane County. She had worked many years at Roane Hosiery Mill. Her most treasured times were those spent with her children and grandchildren. Mary was a loving mother and a friend to many and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Franklin Eugene & Dorothy Sara Ella Ward Brackett; brothers, Rufus Eugene, John Sidney, James Franklin & Calvin Edward Brackett; sisters, Lennis Mae Sams, Margaret Ann Wallace and Mable Lucille Smith.

The family will receive friends 2:00 – 4:00 pm, Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Southwest Point Baptist Church with funeral service following at 4:00 pm, with Rev. Larry Bolden officiating. Graveside service will follow the service at Calvary-Hazelwood Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Thomas & Brady Brackett, Jason McCabe, Chris Norman, Jerry & Alan Brackett.
