Jonathan D.  Maust
Jonathan D. Maust, 35, of Elizabethtown, entered into eternal rest suddenly on March 27, 2017 in Philadelphia.
He was born on January 14, 1982 and was the son of Irene (Weaver) Clark and the late David L. Maust.
Jonathan was a member of Grace Chapel, Elizabethtown, and attended Wisdom’s Table at St. Peter’s UCC in Lancaster. He was a graduate of Lower Dauphin High School, Class of 2000. Jonathan enjoyed fishing and camping, and shared a love of live music with his wife, brother, and closest friends. They attended many memorable concerts and festivals together.
In addition to his father, Jonathan was preceded in death by his twin brother, Timothy P. Maust and his paternal grandparents, Herbert and Erma Maust.
In addition to his mother, Jonathan is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Rachael L. (Gasperetti) Maust and daughter, Emelia R. Maust of Elizabethtown; a brother, Josiah D. Maust of Elizabethtown; maternal grandparents, Luke and Edna Weaver; father and mother-in-law, Jack and Jean Gasperetti; two brothers-in-law, Jack Gasperetti and Tyler Gasperetti; a sister-in-law, Nikki Gasperetti; and several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 4:00 PM at Grace Chapel, 2535 Colebrook Rd., Elizabethtown PA 17022, with the Rev. Melvin Weaver, the Rev. Luke Weaver Jr. and Pastor Anabel Proffitt officiating. There will be a visitation from 2:00 PM until the time of services, Monday at the church.
Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.
The family has entrusted the care of the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Middletown to handle the funeral arrangements.
