Theresa Mary Coco, 82 of Quincy passed away Monday, April 03, 2017 at Maple Lawn while surrounded by family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Coldwater with Rev. Fr. Mark Vyverman officiating. Visitation will be Friday, April 7, 2017 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM, with the Rosary to be recited at 6:30 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. In following Theresa’s wishes, cremation will follow the service and a private burial will take place at Whig Cemetery.

Theresa was born December 4, 1934 to William and Winifred (Carroll) Johnston in Chicago, IL. She married Salvatore “Sam” Coco on November 27, 1952 in Chicago. He preceded her in death on July 23, 1981. Theresa was a very caring and dedicated mother, as well as involved in her community through volunteering. Her children and their families were her greatest treasures. She loved dancing, singing, karaoke, and enjoying the outdoors.

Mrs. Coco is survived by her children Mary Parshall, Lynn (Pete) Boyer, Sue (Jim) Shaffer, Jeannie (Gary) Hutson, Tom (Jodi) Coco, Theresa (Greg) Lyon, David (Christine) Coco, Ron (Sue) Coco, Ken (Tina) Coco, Kate (Brian) Smith, Margie (Matt) Avery; her 51 grandchildren, her 28 great grandchildren, her sister Margie (Jim) Pacelli, sister-in-law, Frances Selvaggio, and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Sam.
