EVELYN FRATINI CARDILLO

Evelyn, 91, of Sturgeon, PA died Tuesday, April 4, 2017, in her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born August 25, 1925, a daughter of the late Guido and Teresa Buccaluva Fratini from Bulger.

Mrs. Cardillo was a member of St. Patrick’s R. C. Church in Noblestown. She had a life-long passion for gardening, cooking and sewing. Chances are if you saw her in a snazzy outfit she designed it and sewed it herself. She also helped to run the family farm. She was devoted to her family.

Surviving are her sons, Fred (Anita) Cardillo and Michael Esther) Cardillo; grandchildren, Maria and Anthony Cardillo; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael A. Cardillo (2016)brothers, Fred, Memmo, William and Raymond Fratini; sisters, Wanda Queen, Nora Fratini and Anna Marie Fernandez.

Friends will be received Thursday 6-8 p.m. in the Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 5000 Noblestown Road, Oakdale (724-693-2800). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 2:00 p.m. in St. Patrick R. C. Church, 7322 Noblestown Rd. Oakdale, PA 15071. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Interment will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
