Obituary for Margaret Mary Cuff

Margaret Mary  Cuff
PANTEGO – Mrs. Margaret “Marge” Mary Cuff, 91, of Pantego quietly slipped away on Sunday morning, April 2, 2017, at her home.
Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 7, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1200 S. Davis Drive, Arlington with Father Michael Ciski, T.O.R. officiating. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 6, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials and donations may be made, in Marge’s honor, to The Discalced Carmelite Nuns, 5801 Mt. Carmel Dr., Arlington, TX, 76017.
Marge was born in Argentia, Newfoundland, Canada, to the late Michael Joseph Lynch and Elizabeth Power Lynch. She worked for the U.S. Navy at Naval Station Argentia, where she would meet her future husband, Jim, in 1945. They married in August of 1946. Marge was a Navy wife, mother, Nana, friend, neighbor, and so much more to so many people during her life. She was a devoted member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, and served her Lord God in many roles at St. Maria’s. Marge was a Lady of the Grand Cross (LGCHS) in the Order of the Holy Sepulchre. The Cuff Family would like to express their thanks for all the expressions of love during this difficult time. Marge is already dearly missed by her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Barbara Anne; three brothers, Thomas, Leo, and Michael; and two sisters, Mary Elizabeth and Mary Theresa.
Survivors: Husband of over 70 years, James J. “Jim” Cuff; son, Jimmy (Dana), Sanford, NC; daughter, Candy (Derek), Irving, TX; son, Michael, Dallas, TX; daughter, Terry (Randy), Springtown, TX; and sisters-in-law, Janet, Fairhope, AL; Pat, Orange Park, FL; and Mary Jane (Harry), Millsboro, DE; 4 grandchildren, Michelle, Kris, Mollie, and Dalton; and one great-grandchild, Olive; and over 60 nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces, great-great nephews and nieces.
