Florence S. Parmenter, born June 8, 1916 to Walter and Bessie Southward died in Kettering, OH on Sun, March 26, 2017. She was preceded in death by daughter Janet, granddaughter Allison, husbands William Melvin and Art Parmenter. Survived by daughters Marilyn (Ed) Zakareckis and Kathryn (Delbert) West, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, sisters Ellen Kelly and Grace Cottrill, many nieces, nephews, and friends. Services will be at Christ UMC 3440 Shroyer Rd Kettering, OH on Sat. April 8 with a visitation at 11:00am and a service at 11:45am. Reception to follow. Arrangements entrusted to Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations of time and gift to Kettering Medical Center or United Methodist Women at Christ UMC.
