The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Sylvia Sangster can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Our sympathy to Sylvia's family.
We both knew her well in high school
and enjoyed visiting her and Jim when we
would be visiting as we live in Ponoka Alberta. Many good memories.

Condolence From: Jim & Melody Busch
Condolence: We so enjoyed our visits to the farm with Jim & Sylvia; the area tours & history lessons; her finding the original Bathurst concession and taking us to see it; her WWI stories of Granddad became so poignant since I’d visited Flanders & the Vimy Ridge Battlefield; and there were the discussion on Canadian & American politics. Her emails were the window to our Canadian family. I’m so grateful she came with her daughters to visit mother before she passed. It meant so much to her. We empathize & sympathize for your loss.
