Condolence: Dear David,

Thank you for letting me know about your Mom. I am so sorry for your loss. We are never truly prepared to lose a loved one. She had a wonderful, remarkable life. She touched so many people's lives through her teaching and community involvement.

She was a very special person to me, having known her all my life. I remember her gracious smile and kindness throughout the years. As you know, she and my mother were very close.
I heard about Flo all my life and saw her often.

I was so glad to be able to keep in touch with her through the later years. Thank you so much for your part in that. I have thought of her often and always will. May God bless her and bring you and your family comfort and peace.

Condolence From: Joan Grasso

Condolence: David and family...your mom was my all time favorite teacher at Vrooman Avenue School. I will always remember her for instilling in me a love of reading, her reading Charlotte's Web to our class, the smell of citrus permeating the classroom as she always had an orange or grapefruit for afternoon snack, and teaching all of us to sing Polish Christmas carols. She was one of a kind. I treasured her. David am so sorry I never got to see her. My own mom passed in February...and I've been back and forth. She was one of a kind. Rest In Peace sweet Mrs Collins. My heartfelt condolences to all of you.
