The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Leon Brown can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Susie and Howard Boise
Condolence: They say the first yr. is the hardest. It's hard to think it has been a yr. since your loss. Beaner was one of my favorite people. I know him and Betty are together and watching over all of you. May God give each of you comfort in your loss.

Condolence: After the funeral today I sat in the Brown’s home taking it all in. The sound was nearly deafening at times. So many people so happy to be together, like so many times before. Over the years I really don’t know how this humble home contained the energy within, especially when Ma Brown was in the kitchen. There was however a relief valve, through which a steady out pouring of Love flowed. A never ending stream of hats gloves and mittens, sturdy wooden toys and furniture of maple, oak and cherry and and don’t forget a blanket to cover you. It was an outlet that flowed over many kids, grandkids and great grand kids. All the Browns and many friends are surrounded by this sea. I am very proud, and blessed to be part of it.

Condolence: So sorry for your loss (and ours), Beaner was a wonderful man and friend. My son Daniel and I spent some time with him in the past while he worked on my saws, always gave me grief about the way we treated our saws, but we loved listening to him. He sure loved his wife Betty and talked about her every time I was with him. I will miss him tremendously.
