Condolence From: John Burnham
Condolence: I knew Roger for a short time but long enough to call him a friend. I worked with him at Duncan Aviation and it was always a pleasure to see him down on the floor. My condolences go out to the Palmiter family. I'll be playing in the "Hockey for Life" tournament this weekend. 240 skaters are skating for a reason and cause including myself. There will be a banner with posterboards attached that people can sign - entitled "Why I Skate." I have 2 reasons and one of them is in memory of Roger.

Condolence From: Pete Mills
Condolence: I had the privilege of working with Roger at Duncan Aviation. We would have a morning talk, see how the day was shaping up, then go about our jobs. Roger was always optimistic and ready to find the good in people or things. It is so very hard to comprehend that he is gone. I offer my condolences to his family and hope they find comfort in sharing the memories of Roger's life.

Condolence: Tammi,
I had no idea Roger was ill. That's why I haven't seen you two. Sure will miss the badgering and teasing we did back and forth. I will keep you in my prayers and I know he has been made whole. God bless!

Condolence: To me as an QA inspector for Duncan Aviation Roger personified the aircraft mechanics creed...
Upon my honor...I will hold in sacred trust the rights and privileges conferred upon me as a certified aviation mechanic. Knowing full well that the safety and lives of others are dependent upon my skill and judgement, I will never subject others to risks that I am not willing to assume.
I pledge never to undertake or approve work that I feel is beyond the limits of my knowledge, nor will I allow an unqualified person to persuade me to approve aircraft or equipment as airworthy against my better judgement. I will not be influenced by personal gain, nor shall I pass as airworthy, aircraft or equipment about which I am in doubt either as a result of my inspection or uncertainty regarding the ability of others who have worked on it to accomplish their work satisfactorily.

I realize the grave responsibility that is mine - to exercise my judgment on the airworthiness of aircraft and equipment. I pledge unyielding adherence to these precepts for the advancement of aviation and the dignity of my profession.
I had the pleasure and privilege to work with Roger at Duncan Aviation.
My sincere sympathy goes out to Roger's family.

Condolence: To Roger: It's very difficult not seeing you every day at work. Sharing a "beginning of the day" conversation with you each morning. Hearing your voice and laugh in the department. Seeing how you loved working and associating with everyone here at work each day. Selfishly, it isn't fair that you were called home. But, we knew we couldn't keep you....you were needed elsewhere.

To Roger's Family: We all share in your loss. All of us who were honored and privileged to know and be touched by this terrific man. We're much better people because of it.
