Obituary for James "Jim" E. Thum

James "Jim" E.  Thum
THUM, James E. “Jim”. On April 12, 2017. Of Marlton, NJ. Age 85. Beloved husband of Lucille (nee Weiss). Devoted father of Terry Gerber, Michael James (Sue) and Anne Rossano (Dominic). Dear brother of Charles Thum (Sandy) and the late Agnes Howell (Humphrey). Loving grandfather of Christina Latyn (Scott), Allison Thum, Andrew Gerber, Michael Thum, Dominic Rossano and Louis Rossano. Jim served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War and was very active with the Marlton Elks Lodge #2514. He enjoyed being a part of the Marlton Elks Youth Activities Program, Marlton Rec. Council and was the former commissioner of the Marlton Shade Tree Commission. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday April 19th from 6-8 PM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt.73 and Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 AM on Thursday April 20th at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 100 Willowbend Rd., Marlton, NJ. Interment Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Marlton Elks Lodge #2514, PO Box 364, Marlton, NJ 08053.
