Latricia “Trisha” Ann Troup, 38, of Fairburn, GA passed away unexpectedly due to an asthma attack Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Cydney Idsingna officiating. In following Latricia’s wishes, cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM.
Latricia was born May 21, 1978 to Larry and Cathy (Barnes) Troup in Battle Creek. After graduation from high school, she continued her schooling at Baker College to become a medical assistant. Trisha moved to Georgia about 10 years ago and has been in the Atlanta area since. She was most recently working at GCSS.
Trisha was a very giving person. Her last gift was that of being an organ donor where she was able to help many. Trisha thoroughly enjoyed singing & dancing. She was fond of dressing up and enjoying herself with friends. Trisha will be remembered as a caring, giving, and generous person who always had a smile on her face.
Latricia is survived by her parents Larry and Cathy Troup of Coldwater; her son Treshawn Troup of Atlanta; her siblings Lawrence Troup of IN, Danny Troup of Battle Creek, Lynnette (Carlos) Easterling of Atlanta, and Alicia Troup of Detroit; her many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her brother John Troup.
