Obituary for Lola Gay Lockhart
Lola Gay Lockhart, age 63, of Rosedale, Virginia, passed away Sunday (April 16, 2017) in Rosedale, Virginia. Born March 14, 1954 in Buchanan County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late James Russell and Vernie K. Keen Lockhart. A lifelong resident of the southwest Virginia area, she was a member of the Honaker Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one niece, Tammy Compton.
Survivors include six siblings, Wanda Arms of Abingdon, Virginia, Geraldine Miller and husband, Art of Defiance, Ohio, James Edward Lockhart and wife, Charlene and Della Cook and husband, Jerry all of Sevierville, Tennessee, Mary Ellen Lockhart of Oakwood, Virginia, and Glen Wesley Lockhart and wife, Lora of Defiance, Ohio; caregiver, Vicky Burkes; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Bro. Randy Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia.
Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Wednesday.
