Clifton, Mr. Joe Edward, age 88 of Dickson, TN formerly of Franklin, TN passed away April 17, 2017. Retired owner and operator of the former Dairy Queen of Franklin for 23 years. Veteran of the U.S. Army. Son of the late James Edmon Clifton and Bessie Clifton. A devoted husband to his wife Wanda of 56 years who passed away in 2011. Also preceded in death by his sister, Ann Endsley. Survived by son, Robert Clifton of Dickson, TN formerly of Franklin and brother, Jimmy Clifton of Wasco, Oregon. Visitation will be Friday April 21,2017 from 4-8pm at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1:00PM Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Historic Franklin First United Methodist Church, 142 5th Ave South with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Dickson,TN . Active Pallbearers , Dillion Gahm, Trevor Gahm, William DePriest, Bob Endsley, Wilford Denton, Richard DePriest.
