Seneca Falls – LouAnn Millis, 76, of Chapel St., Seneca Falls, NY, passed away, unexpectedly, on Monday (April 17, 2017) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY.

Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY on Sunday (April 23) from 5 PM to 8 PM. LouAnn’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday (April 24) at 1 PM at St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. If desired, contributions may be made to the St. Francis/St. Clare Parish, 25 Center St., Waterloo, NY 13165.

LouAnn was born in Seneca Falls on July 20, 1940, the daughter of the late Timothy & Wilhelmina Kinnetz Holland. She was a lifelong resident of Seneca Falls. She was retired from the Bank of America, Seneca Falls, after many years of service. She then went to work at the Midey, Mirras & Ricci Law Firm in Seneca Falls. Most recently, she worked for the New York Chiropractic College in the athletic center. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls. LouAnn loved Bowling and Bocce. Her love of Bocce and Bowling lead her to be a member of both the S.M.S. and Rumseyville Bocce Leagues as well as the Housewives Bowling League for many years. While at home, she enjoyed sewing and reading, but her biggest pleasure was time spent with her loving grandchildren.

She is survived by:
Her loving husband of 56 years, Lewis E. Millis of Seneca Falls, whom she married on July 23, 1960; a daughter Lisa (David) Allan of Lockport, NY; a son Timothy (Irene) Millis of Seneca Falls, NY. Her grandchildren
James & Michael Millis, Bradley & Sydney Allan. Her loving companion, her dog, Molly along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, LouAnn was predeceased by a grandson, Matthew Millis who died December 12, 1990; as well as her sister, Mary Jane Toni who died January 24, 2016.
