Lorraine Pickett
Oliver is an amazing little boy. He's a great friend and student,he's very respectful, funny, energetic, loving, caring and wise beyond his years. His smile could light up a room and he has the worlds greatest laugh. These are just a few of the many special traits that made him who is is. He also greeted me everyday as I stood outside my classroom door with a "hi Mrs.Picketts" & a big hug. A few minutes later Mrs. Miller would walk the students to breakfast & as he'd pass by me he'd either give me another hug,a high five or he'd poke me so that when I'd poke back at him he'd pull away & giggle. I'd see him a little later when he ate lunch because that was when I had lunch duty. After lunch I always stuck around long enough to chat with him and his classmates as they were in lineup and then I'd walk back with them until I got to my classroom. Two hours later I'd be waiting for him and the rest of the children to meet me up front for the boys and girls club. He always sat with his best buddies Justin,Jose and Joshua. I'm blessed to have been one of many people who spent a lot of time with him and loved him like he was one of my own. I refuse to ever allow any of the great memories to ever be overshadowed by his passing. His legacy will be a constant reminder of all that is good and kind. I will continue to pray for you all and help you in any way that I can...please don't hesitate to call on me for anything.
