Maria “Tita” Tailon
November 2, 1941 – April 17, 2017
Maria “Tita” Tailon, 75, of Naalehu, Hawaii, was born in South Kona, Hawaii on November 2, 1941, and passed away on April 17, 2017 in Kealakekua, Hawaii. Maria worked as teacher’s assistant, childcare provider, and a homemaker.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday April 29 at Naalehu Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation 8am-10am. Mass service at 10am burial at a later date.

She is survived by sons; Marino Tailon and Felix Tailon both of Naalehu, daughters; Felicia (Mac) Mason and Della (Willy) Kaluna both of Naalehu, Monica Tailon of Honolulu and hanai daughter Tiare (Nir) Tapu Shalev of Tahiti.

Brothers; Henry (Stalma) Makuakane and Paul (Nona) Makuakane both of Naalehu. Sisters; Lucy Makuakane of Pahala, Annabelle “Cha” (Randy) Galigo and Pammy (Randy) Dudoit both of Naalehu.

Seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, in-laws, numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
