Wilson – Funeral Service for Mrs. Dena Mischa (Jennings) Burckhalter, 43 of Healdton are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Martin officiating with Rev. Clyde Quick assisting. Interment will follow to Dixie Cemetery.

Dena was born in Healdton to Mr. Dell Alvin Jennings and Mrs. Sondra Beth (Ruth) Jennings on July 17, 1973. She departed from this life on Monday, April 24, 2017 at her home in Healdton.

Dena was raised in Ringling graduating from Ringling High School in 1991. She married Johnny Burckhalter in Gainesville, TX on March 17, 1995. They were blessed with three children, Sierra, Cameron and Brad. Dena loved baking and she could make anything. Dena always put family first before herself. She was a devoted wife and mother. Dena was a member of the Mt. View Full Gospel Church in Foster.

Preceding her in death was her grandson Kash Kane Burckhalter; paternal grandparents, Alvin and Oretha Jennings and her maternal grandparents, Oscar and Mary Lea Ruth.

Dena is survived by her husband Johnny of the home; daughter, Sierra Burckhalter and Dayton Potts; sons, Cameron Burckhalter and Brad Burckhalter and his fiancé Becca Thomas all of Healdton; parents, Dell and Sondra Jennings of Healdton; siblings, Adam, Dana, Aric and Derrick Jennings all of Healdton and a host of other family and friends.

Casket Bearers will be Wendell Billingsley, Dewayne Jennings, Dustin Porter, Ronnie Jennings, Jerry Jennings and Chris Dalley.
