Condolences

Condolence From: Ginny (Virginia) McAlear
Condolence: My love and condolences to all the family. I know you will miss her sweet spirit, easy laugh, and caring ways. We grew up together in a very small town where everyone knew everything. She was a joy to her classmates, a delight to her teachers, and a wonderful drum major in our band. We marched hundreds of miles together. I hope the heavenly band welcomed her to heaven with a John Phillip Sousa march. We don't mourn like those who have no hope, however. We will see her again.

Condolence From: Phil and Bonnie Russell
Condolence: Before they were married, our daughter Emily and Jonathan had been good friends for many years. In 1997 we purchased a vacation home in Crested Butte. The first winter we encouraged our kids to bring a friend. To our surprise, Emily asked if she could invite her friend Jonathan. We got to know our future son in law on that trip. it was clear that he had a good upbringing. When we got home, we were greeted with a beautiful coconut cream pie made by Margaret Ann, a real treasure. The pie was wonderful, but Margaret Ann was the treasure.

Years later Joe and Margaret Ann made the long drive to Crested Butte to attend our sons wedding, a journey above and beyond the call of duty. The wedding photographer captured a beautiful photo Margaret Ann holding our mutual 15 month old grandson Owen in her arms, fast asleep, during the loud and lively wedding reception. That is how we'll remember her.

Condolence From: Mike and Marty Riley
Condolence: We will treasure those times we spent with Margaret Ann (and you too Joe, plus the kids) way back in the day of Purdue University. Christmas cards and pictures have kept the flames of our friendship going for all of these years. We regret not ever coming to Oklahoma to visit.
Know that our very deepest sympathy, our hugs, our love, and prayers (even tho they are Catholic-this would make her smile) are being sent to you Joe, and all of the kids and family.

Condolence From: Cheryl and Steve Lovejoy
Condolence: Joe and family,
Cheryl & I want to express our sincere condolences to you on the very sad loss of Margaret Ann. I have known her all of my life and she was a very special person to me growing up as part of our extended family. Margaret Ann and my sister Linda Kay were not only cousins but best friends growing up in Tipton. Since they were together so much I also spent a lot of time with Margaret Ann. I loved to torment the girls but often they would team up and I would get the worst of it. We all had a fun and happy childhood. Like you, I will miss her very much!
May God's grace be with you all as you travel down this difficult path of grieving and missing her.
Steve Lovejoy

Condolence From: Bruce and Glenda Fisher and Myrtha Fisher
Condolence: Our prayers and condolences to all of Margaret Ann's family and friends. I told Myrtha today and she was saddened but old memories brought smiles back for us both. She remembers everyone from days gone by and I think those memories are what keep her going. As time passes, it seems to embolden those fond memories. Mary Ann was another one of God's many blessings.

Condolence: Margaret Ann was special in too many ways to count for sure. She gave my surprise baby shower with my first child over 48 years ago and like all things she did, it was first class. It was great to be in the same town with her again after so long ago and she would do special things for me that always touched my heart. I will always be in awe of her and Joe and their marriage for it was sure one of a kind. She will be missed by so many of us, but her family most of all I am sure.

Condolence: My time in Stillwater would not have been the same without the guidance and support from Margaret Ann. Years, miles, and now heaven's gates have separated us, but her impact on a lot of folks has stayed with us. I hope we all can share that same joy, humor, and God's grace with others.

Condolence: Margaret was so full of life and laughter in my memory. She touched many people in all that she did, as well as through the family she loved so much. May those lifelong memories your family shared aid you as you pass through this time of loss.
