Obituary for Michaelangelo Certa

Michaelangelo Certa, 80, of Interlachen, passed away on 25 April 2017 in Interlachen, Florida.
Michaelangelo was born in the Borough of Manhattan to Pellegrino and Mary Certa. He worked as a Mason/bricklayer with the Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen Union for more than fifty years. He was involved in the Knights of Columbus, The American Legion, and the Happy Painters of Interlachen. He enjoyed farming, gardening, fishing, and the fine arts. Michaelangelo was an eternal optimist, and took great pleasure in practicing rural homesteading and self-reliance.
Michaelangelo is preceded in death by his father, Pellegrino, his mother, Mary, and his brothers, Joseph, Vincent, George, Michael, and sister, Frances.
Michaelangelo is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, the former Frances McNelis, of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and their four children, Angela, Christopher, Daniel, and Anthony; brothers John and Peter; eleven grandchildren, Marisa, Thomas, Anthony, Pherrin, Catherine, Daniel, John, Brendan, Genevieve, Ronan, and Shannon, three great grandchildren, Sydney, Brielle, and Christian, and numerous nieces and nephews.
