JEAN BURKS SCOTT WRIGHT - 5-3-1937 – 5-1-2017
Daughter of Eugene Scott and Virginia Burks Scott passed away peacefully on May 1, 2017.
She was a graduate of Humes High School, Blue Mountain College, and Memphis State University where she earned her Masters Degree in early childhood education. She was a teacher for thirty-one years and taught at Raleigh Bartlett Meadows Elementary School, Chicago Park Elementary School, and Memphis State University.
She leaves two sons James William ”Jim” Wright Jr. and Jonathan Triplett ”Jon” Wright and a granddaughter Natalie Anne Wright.
She was a kind and gracious lady.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in her memory to The Wolf River Conservancy at 901-452-6500.
