Services for Kerry Gamble, 53, of Athens, Texas will be held at 2:30p.m., Sunday, May 7th, 2017 at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Leonard Jackson officiating. There will be a private family burial to follow. Mr. Gamble went to be with the Lord on May 1, 2017 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on June 29, 1963 in Grand Bay, Alabama to Willie Mae and Lennox Gamble. He was a 1981 graduate of Mobile County High School moving to Henderson County shortly thereafter. He was a dedicated member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the male chorus. He is preceded in death by parents Willie Mae (Allen) and Lennox Gamble, sister Ana D. Gamble, brother Leon Gamble and nephew Kerry Gamble. Survivors include devoted wife LaTonya Williams-Gamble, loving daughters Crystal Gamble-Jones (Randy) and Natavia Gamble, beloved sons Kerry T. Gamble and Randall Gamble. Brothers Lennox Gamble Jr.(Alabama) (Willie Gamble (Athens) and Edward Gamble (Alabama). Sisters Evelyn Peyton (Alabama), Barbara Williams (Alabama) and Geraldine Pettaway Carter (Alabama). Three Grandchildren, Rhyan Nykole Jones, Rheigan LaShaye Jones and Randall Gamble Jr along with a host of nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends and visitors at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday May, 6 2017.
