Wayne M. Smith
Age 73, of Burdett, NY, passed away April 30, 2017. Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Douglas and Marie Smith; daughter, Jessica Pracher; and brothers, Douglas and Craig Smith. He is survived by his wife, Terri Smith; children Kimberly Smith of Bellport, NY, Wayne Smith Jr. of Moriches, NY, and Joshua (Marguerite) Smith of Center Moriches, NY; sister, Lauren (Robert) Gelfant of West Babylon, NY; six beloved grandchildren: Chelsea, Alex, Savannah, Sierra, Jacob and Matthew. Wayne was a retired police officer for the Suffix County Police Department. The friends and family may call on Sunday, May 7, at the Reynoldsville United Methodist Church on State Route 227 from 1pm-3pm; a funeral service to follow at 3:00pm. Interment at Woodlawn National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
