Obituary for Peggy Frances Deer
Peggy Frances Deer, 76, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 in Mansfield.
Visitation: 2-4 p.m. Sunday, May 7, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m. Monday at Itasca Cemetery, Itasca with Reverend Jannette Miller officiating.
Peggy was born on February 18, 1941 in Marlin, Texas to Leonard Joe Deer and Mary Frances Hammond Deer. She was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. An Arlington resident since the 1970’s, she was a certified nurse technician and worked for Medical City of Arlington. Peggy was also a former draftsman engineer.
She was an avid fan of softball, baseball and girls sports. Peggy enjoyed painting, reading, and loved the Texas Rangers.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors: Sisters, JoAnn Felton and husband, Ron, and Patti Cable and husband, Steve; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of family and friends.
