The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Marvell can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: John was truly a gentleman in the true sense of the word. He was always there to help in any situation, from the work he did at the Banks Committee, to local politics and more importantly, as a friend. So sorry to hear of his passing.

Condolence From: Nancy and Bob Sigler
Condolence: Reflecting on John's passing we can not help but think of the poignant poem on dying "Gone From My Sight"by Henry Vandeyke. How true it is that although John has sailed over the horizon so we can no longer see him, he is still there as vibrant as ever in our memories. Farewell John. Thanks for your wonderful friendship over the past 57 years. We will miss you.
