Lucy truly was one of a kind. Her heart was bigger than she was. I had the priviledge of being part of her life when I lived at her Bed and Breakfast while I worked in Wawanesa. She became like a second mom to me - She treated me like one of the family and between her and Hank, provided me wonderful meals. I was included in everything, treated like her "adopted daughter". I remember how she loved to cheat at dominoes. She would slap Hank's hand if he made a move that would cause her to not be able to play her domino. Sitting around the kitchen table in the winter playing dominoes (it was considered a winter game, we never played in the summer)with Loree, neighborhood watch (Audrey) and of course my adopted brother - Darcy (another person who lived at the B&B during the week). Such laughter and fun. She loved to do things for others, was so involved in the community - whether the church or lodge - always in the know and ready to help when needed. Wawanesa will not be the same without her. I can only imagine the whole her loss has caused in the hearts and lives of her family and friends. My condolences to her family whom she loved above all things and her many, many friends. So glad you are back with your beloved Henry!
