Condolence: A life well-lived! We so enjoyed our visits to the farm, helping out at the flower shop, enjoying the barbecues and pie lunches in Wawanesa. Lucy was such a generous, loving person. She will be truly missed.

Condolence: When we were kids growing up in Nesbitt there was not a better afternoon spent than that of riding our bikes to Lucy and Hanks farm house. It just seemed like there was always a lot going on and for some crazy reason they always let us go back. And there was no one else in our small world who had two babies instead of one!
There was laughter and playing around Lucy and Hank. Once I noticed Lucy's wall clock was fast and she said she kept it that way because Hank was always late otherwise. They were involved in the Nesbitt Community as my parents were and so our lives connected.
Lucy was always kind and always had time for a chat when out paths crossed. And of course she kept me filled in about her sister Josie who was a friend of mine. She had high energy and if she slowed down in her later years I never saw it. Rest in peace Lucy beside your beloved Hank

Condolence: Lucy truly was one of a kind. Her heart was bigger than she was. I had the priviledge of being part of her life when I lived at her Bed and Breakfast while I worked in Wawanesa. She became like a second mom to me - She treated me like one of the family and between her and Hank, provided me wonderful meals. I was included in everything, treated like her "adopted daughter". I remember how she loved to cheat at dominoes. She would slap Hank's hand if he made a move that would cause her to not be able to play her domino. Sitting around the kitchen table in the winter playing dominoes (it was considered a winter game, we never played in the summer)with Loree, neighborhood watch (Audrey) and of course my adopted brother - Darcy (another person who lived at the B&B during the week). Such laughter and fun. She loved to do things for others, was so involved in the community - whether the church or lodge - always in the know and ready to help when needed. Wawanesa will not be the same without her. I can only imagine the whole her loss has caused in the hearts and lives of her family and friends. My condolences to her family whom she loved above all things and her many, many friends. So glad you are back with your beloved Henry!
