I was shocked to learn today of David's death. I am so sad for all of you as I know he loved you all so much.

I heard from Dave about 6 years ago when he was studying theology at the Huron Campus. He talked about you all and expressed his love for his grandchildren and his kids.

I know you will miss him desperately. My sincere sympathy to you all.

Condolence: My sympathies on your family's loss of Dave. I had not been in touch with Dave for a number of years but have fond memories of playing many competitive games of squash with Dave and had the opportunity of working with Dave on a number of real estate transactions.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear this news. My love and condolences go out to Dave's family and close friends. I send a wish for peace, great memories and continuing love to Sandi and Chuck. We may not be able to see our loved ones in the flesh but our fond and loving memories of them continue in our hearts forever. Condolence: I was shocked to open this today on Mother's Day. So sad. I have enjoyed David's company over the years in many places with sisters Diane and Karen. We had a lot of laughs. My sincere condolences to all. I would appreciate hearing if there will be a celebration of life at some point.

Condolence: I am shocked and saddened by the news of David's passing. He was a wonderful, generous man. We spent a great deal of time together working for the Daycare in Merrickville and socializing and enjoying the restaurant that he and Sandy built. Sincere condolences to Sandy and the rest of his family. He will be dearly missed. Godspeed, David!

Condolence: The Houston family. It was so sad to hear about your Dad. I am sure he will be missed by you all. You don't know me but I was Diane' sister in law from Cambridge (Doug Sheppard sister). Condolence: I was so devastated at my Dad's passing. He was such an important and big part of my life. He was always there to support me when I needed him. He was always someone I could turn to for knowledge and advice on his amazing depth of passions that he participated in. He loved his family and friends above all else and we loved him equally. But most of all he was my best friend. I will miss him and will never forget him.

Condolence: My dad was creative, a gardener, a cook, a Christmas fanatic, an academic, a wood carver, a baker. He was gentle and kind. He gave me the type of love I have never felt from anyone else. He loved me unconditionally, whether I did what he wanted me to do, or not, whether he agreed with me or not. He loved me in the best times and the worst. He loved me no matter what. That kind of love comes once in a lifetime. A piece of me is broken and will not ever recover. I love you dad. No matter what and forever.
