Obituary for Kathy A. Lanning

PARISHVILLE – Mrs. Kathy A. Lanning, 55, of 1196 Old Potsdam-Parishville Road, peacefully passed away Wednesday evening at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, with her family by her side.

Kathy was born December 24, 1961 in Massena, the daughter of the late Robert Perry and Iona Jean Primeau Tyo. She attended Parishville-Hopkinton schools and worked for a short time at Potsdam Hospital in the laundry department.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Charles; her daughter, Patricia Tyo of Ogdensburg; and a granddaughter, Jayden Scovel.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Joanne D. Gonyea; and her brothers, Perry R. and Carter R. Tyo.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services. Arrangements for cremation are with the Donaldson-Seymour Funeral Home, Potsdam, where memories and condolences may be shared online at www.donaldsonseymour.com.
